Great weather for an outdoor event a Revera Valley Stream. Hamburgs, hot dogs, and prizes plus some lively music from the Jock River Jazz Band. Did I mention the 1930's Buick - in immaculate condition. And weather that was hot enough to put us outside, with no rain
Canada Day - and the weather was great. Warm and hot, but the thunderstorms held off. Thanks to Landmark Court (Revera) for inviting us to their special day. Thanks to all the seniors who ventured outside to enjoy the weather, and to help celebrate Canada's Birthday
Mardi Gras is always a celebration, and the group was invited once more to Wellington West to provide some uptempo music and enjoy the holiday. These old tunes from the 1900's seem to be universally recognized, even 100 years later.
After a LONG lockdown for COVID 19 - the band is happy to get a chance to perform. The Waterford Retirement hosted the group on Aug 22. The weather was threatening, the event was in danger of cancellation -BUT we were lucky the clouds and rain moved to the West of Ottawa, and the event was a big success. Lets hope we see more events like this - and the end of the COVID problems.Â
